Meet Jodie, Founder of Sydney Pilates Community.

With a background in dance, Jodie Stubbs-Sullivan has had a life long passion for fitness and has worked in the industry for over 30 years. Jodie completed a Degree in Exercise Science at The University of NSW, and has worked as an educator/presenter at The Australian Institute of fitness, a college that certifies students to become a Personal Trainer. She has also worked with clients from the general population to sport specific to injury rehabilitation.

Her passion and mission is to educate her clients on safe and effective exercise techniques to gain maximum results.

After personal training for 15 years, Jodie made the switch to Pilates after being drawn to it not only by its physical benefits but also the "mind body" aspect of pilates. She studied at Polestar Pilates International, which is an internationally respected training body designed by physiotherapists.

Jodie combines her sessions with personal training style exercises and traditional Pilates Exercises....so you will never be bored.

Jodie and her instructors pride their classes on being strong, flowing, motivating, with a focus on mind/body awareness so participants leave feeling inspired, with an increase in energy, vitality, clarity and focus.

All Sydney Pilates Community instructors are industry qualified with years of experience.

 

All Sydney Pilates Community instructors are qualified with Mat Pilates Certificates that are recognised by either Fitness Australia, Physical Activity Australia or Pilates Alliance Australasia (PPA). Fitness Australia and PPA ‘s key functions are to provide a system of regulation for exercise professionals, businesses and education providers to ensure that they meet fitness industry standards. All Instructors have insurance and current First Aid and CPR certificates.
