Sydney Pilates Community classes are suitable for the beginner to the advanced participant and cater for any age.

Sydney Pilates Community classes are a 45-minute full body workout consisting of a flow of low impact strength, balance and flexibility movements with a focus on core control, postural alignment, concentration and breath. Participants perform exercises within their own limitations. Modified and more advanced versions of each exercise are always given so anyone can do it! After a mini mediation at the end of each class, participants leave feeling calm and with an increase in energy, vitality, clarity and focus. Please contact us if you are pregnant, less than 6 weeks post natal or injured to discuss further.

Ideally you should allow at least 5 classes to gain an understanding of the Pilates Principles and set a good foundation.

Sydney Pilates Community Class Information

 

How long are the classes?

At Sydney Pilates Community we understand that time is of the essence, so classes are 45 mins in duration. We provide a strong and powerful class to maximise all the benefits of Pilates.

What do I need to bring?

Participants are to bring their own Pilates /Yoga mat, towel and water bottle 

How many classes a week should I be doing?

Ideally 2-3 times a week 

Can I try a class for free to see if I like it?

Yes! Click here to register for your first free class. Please arrive atleast 10 minutes before the class  to fill out a pre- exercise questionnaire and to chat to Jodie about any injuries or concerns you may have.

What is the cost?

◦ Casual Visit: $25

◦ 10 visit pass: $190

◦ If a 10 visit pass is completed within 6 weeks of purchase, your NEXT 10 visit pass will be $170

How do I book?

No need to book! Just click here to register for your first class and please arrive at least 10 minutes before the class to fill out a pre-exercise questionnaire. Jodie can also chat with you about any injuries or concerns you may have. After your first session you can just turn up to your class, no need to book!

Can I use my 10 visit pass at any of Sydney Pilates Community’s classes?

Yes you can!

Will there be a health screening before my first class?

Upon arrival to the class you will be asked to fill out a waiver and pre-exercise questionnaire so that your instructor is aware of any injuries, illnesses or medications that may affect your practice.  You must also notify the instructor of any new injuries before each class.

Who are the Sydney Pilates Community instructors?

All Sydney Pilates Community instructors are qualified with Mat Pilates Certificates that are recognised by either Fitness Australia, Physical Activity Australia or Pilates Alliance Australasia (PPA). Fitness Australia and PPA ‘s key functions are to provide a system of regulation for exercise professionals, businesses and education providers to ensure that they meet fitness industry standards. All Instructors have insurance and current First Aid and CPR certificates.
